Original publisher's straight-grained burgundy morocco with gilt art nouveau design on spine (slightly rubbed). Inner hinge weak. Bondy called it "the most extensive cookery book in miniature". Welsh says "This seems to be the first miniature cook book". Bromer says "Dozens of illustrated cuts of meat, prepared vegetables, and tempting desserts adorn the introduction".
