Volume one is a third edition and volume two is a second edition (all three editions were published in November 1913). xxvi, 636; portrait frontis, xiv, 534 printed pages. There is light foxing to a few pages only. 18 x 24.5 cm. Dark Blue ribbed cloth boards with gold lettering to front and spines. Head and heels of spines ruled in gilt. Both volumes very slightly rubbed. A bright clean tight set in very good condition.
