Worldcat records just three copies worldwide (Delaware, Virginia, and Wyoming university Libraries). It is an adaptation of a Hans Christian Andersen tale, specially produced in the summer of 1999 to coincide with the changing of the millennium. It is bound in marbled paper over boards with a hand-decorated title label representing a high level of artisanal bookbinding. Suzanne Granzow Pruchnicki and Elmira Smith Wilkey operated Bronte Press out of Manteno, IL (often associated with the Bourbonnais area), specializing in miniature books since 1977. Bronte Press books are often produced in limited runs, often hand-signed and numbered, making them sought after by collectors.  Happy New Year! is a fine example of the meticulous work produced by Pruchnicki and Bronte Press, blending literary history with specialized, small-format book arts.
