Mounted photographic frontispiece of the Schiller monument at Schillerplatz, Vienna. Unveiled in 1876, it was the first Viennese public staue featuring a civilian as opposed to a military leader. Printed in red and black; pages have red borders with decorative corners. Calendar interleaved with blank pages for notes. Includes lunar phases, eclipses, saints' days, the Jewish calendar, weights and measures, lottery dates, and exchange rates. All edges gilt.  Contemporary initial in pencil on front free endpaper. 33 x 45 mm. Original red cloth. Covers with original brass plaques, the Imperial Eagle to the front, a cypher within a roccoco border to the back. OCLC, 1190759475.
