This complete Egyptian Tarot is an early edition, probably 1969 or shortly thereafter. It has 78 cards and each Major Arcana card includes Arabic and Roman numbers, Egyptian, Hebrew and English letters, zodiac signs and other symbols. This is the tarot developed by C.C. Zain in the 1930s and published at least into the late sixties by his Church of the Light. The deck is a black and white deck which uses an Egyptian theme and is highly derivative of the Falconnier-Wegener tarot. The deck was sold along with a book of lessons that was meant to be used as a sort of correspondence course in tarot. A new color version of the deck was released a couple of years ago and is still in print. It is an esoteric tarot deck published during a period when esoteric tarot decks were rare. This deck is in near fine condition, with original white flap-top box, preserved by a former owner using clear tape covering the card that is turning yellowish but is still in very good condition.
