Original red cloth. Spine slightly faded. In his work, William Brown brought together the poetic and political lineages and demonstrated the crucial role that poetry played in the making of Paisley as a radical burgh. Paisley political poets, such as Brown, made great use of their widely recognised folk tradition. WorldCat lists just 13 copies worldwide and only three in the UK (not in British Library).
