AUTHOR'S OWN COPY. 76 printed pages. Annotated throughout in red and blue ink by the author. Signed by the author in neat ink hand on front free endpaper (pages slightly age-toned). 14 x 22 cm.  Original grey cloth ( worn at edges, along the spine and faded upper board).  Provenance:- in 2020, this copy was acquired from the direct descendants of Tony Hoolahan Q.C., a prominent libel lawyer who successfully prosecuted Private Eye, (represented by John Mortimer of Rumpole fame) on behalf of Desmond Wilcox (married to Esther Rantzen of "That's Life" fame) in 1982. Includes copy of the same book in second edition (backstrip sadly largely missing).
