80 printed pages. Top and bottom edges green. With 8 superbly reproduced colour plates. 15 x 18.5 cm. Modern full, green, crushed morocco binding depicting an artist's palette. The palette is in inlaid brown goatskin stretching from the back to the front cover, with black outline and thumb-hole and mixtures of oil paints in different coloured relief. The binding was hand-bound by Dawn Wallis for her 1989-92 HIGH NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN BOOKBINDING AND DESIGN, at the London College of Printing and Design at the Elephant and Castle in London. Provenance: purchased from the bookbinder in 2019. Bookseller Inventory # 5003
