FIRST EDITION, FIRST IMPRESSION. 270 printed pages. Scattered mild foxing and age-toning, mostly marginal, on the preliminaries, terminals & edge of textblock. 15.5 x 22.5 cm. Original bright jade-green cloth with gilt lettering across the spine. A crisp, clean, very good or better binding. Very minor dust-soiling to outer extremities, spine very slightly darkened- a solid, square copy. In a very good white dustwrapper printed in vermilion and azure, which has a few nicks to the upper spine and upper corners, is a tinge evenly dust-soiled, but has much less than the usual fading to the spine. Presents well. The dustwrapper was designed by Vanessa Bell & has her initials incorporated into the foot of the front cover design. Published on 13th October 1932, 3,200 copies were printed. WITH Hogarth Press 11 x 17 cm folding four-page pamphlet printed on cream paper in green ink & listing twelve of Woolf's previous Hogarth Press publications (but omitting "Mark on the Wall", "Monday or Tuesday" & "On Being Ill").
